West Virginia Radio Corporation or WVRC is a media corporation comprising exclusively radio stations and two radio networks based in the state of West Virginia.
The company is controlled by Greer Industries and its owners, the Raese family.
It was founded by limestone and steel magnates Herbert and Agnes Greer, who signed on WAJR in 1940. Since 1972, John Raese and his two brothers have controlled the company; they are Herbert and Agnes' grandsons.

WV MetroNews - The Voice of West Virginia - MetroNews is part of West Virginia Radio Corporation. The network broadcasts West Virginia news, sports, and outdoors coverage.
West Virginia Radio Corporation owns stations in five separate areas in the state of West Virginia:
- Charleston
- Morgantown-Clarksburg-Fairmont
- Elkins-Buckhannon-Weston
- Cumberland-Keyser
- Beckley
- Martinsburg-Hagerstown
Three large markets in the state have no West Virginia Radio Corporation presence. They are Huntington, Parkersburg, and Wheeling.
Ratings
Charleston's WCHS as well as Morgantown's WAJR and WVAQ are consistently the highest or near-highest rated stations in their respective markets.
West Virginia MetroNews
West Virginia Radio Corporation owns and operates the "West Virginia MetroNews" Network. The network features 63 affiliates covering all 55 counties in West Virginia.
"West Virginia MetroNews" features on-the-hour news as well as long-form political and sports talk programs.
